12-7-09: V Dogg is STILL here, new music to come

Contrary to popular belief (ironically, that is the title of his new album), V Dogg has NOT stopped rapping nor is he planning to stop.  V Dogg has been on a hiatus from all music but has been in the studio working on new tracks and is planning on getting right back on the microphone in January.  He has put the Christian music on hold for now and will be coming out with that when the new album drops.  Speaking of which, he is finalizing the track listing for the album and who will be featured in each song.  The album is slated to have between sixteen and eighteen tracks.  Stay on the lookout!

5-30-09: New music and happy B-Day to V Dogg!

It has been twenty six years of life for the Vicious One now.  And he is going to kick it off with a new song!  Check out "With Me Tonight" on the "Popular Belief" section.  Stay on the lookout for more!

3-25-09: V Dogg is BACK! New music!

The time for new V Dogg music is here now!  There is a brand new club banger that V Dogg has placed up on the new page entitled "Popular Belief".  The new song is called "That Juicy Butt/@$$".  Check it out!

7-29-08: THE ALBUM IS HERE! IT HAS BEGUN!

V Dogg's highly anticipated debut album, "It Has Begun", is now available!  The face of hip hop has changed, and as the title says, it only has begun!  Purchase your copy by going to the "It Has Begun" page, selecting the version (clean or dirty), and  follow the instructions to get your hands on the hottest hip hop today!  You can purchase the entire album or a few of the songs if you wish.  Check it out!

7-26-08: It begins in three days!

On Tuesday, July 29th, 2008, at 12:01 AM, V Dogg will unleash fourteen of the hottest hip hop tracks in all of hip hop today!  The album, entitled "It Has Begun" is now finished and ready to be unleashed!  It is almost time for the face of hip hop to change!  Be on the lookout!

The release of "It Has Begun" has been pushed back two weeks to July 29th due to circumstances V Dogg has noted on his MySpace blog here.

3-4-08: Number one on the charts!

V Dogg has hit the charts once again!  This time at American Idol Underground.  One of his older songs, "Preliminary Attack", which also includes fellow Master Planner Mazzacre, has reached number one on the AIU charts in the rap category!  Go V Dogg!

11-26-07: New MUSIC!

10-20-07: New music, new shows, and more!

Brand new song up on the Bonus Tracks page!  Also, the song V Dogg released late last month is also now up on the offical site.  V Dogg apologies for the lack of updates, but he has been very, very busy.  Check out "Dem Tatas" and "Swerve", the former being the first official single from the new album!

V Dogg is also getting back on stage!  He made his seventh trip to Studio 231 on Thursday night, where his music (which included a live performance of "Swerve") was well received by the crowd.  He hopes to continue the reception at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, where he will be performing in a crowd of THOUSANDS on two days!  Be there to see V Dogg rock Alabama's biggest city!

Speaking of Birmingham, V Dogg was in attendance at the 95.7 Jamz radio station on Wednesday night, and he will be right back at the radio station next Wednesday.  For those of you out of the Birmingham area, go to www.957jamz.com on Wednesday at 8 PM Central time, and click on "On Air Broadcast".  You can even listen to V Dogg himself.

9-2-07: New music coming!

Good news, V Dogg fans!  Brand new music from the V-D-O-Double-G will be coming to you this month!  After a long hiatus of being off the mic, V Dogg will be coming back, stronger and better than ever.  If hip hop hasn't changed when the mixtape was released, it WILL change now!  Be on the lookout!

7-7-07: Mixtape back up!

The Merciless Heat Mixtape is back online with the new feature: Postcards!  Now the mixtape and every single one of the songs have stylish postcards to go with them.  And remember, you can still get your copy of the mixtape on CD.  Check it out!

7-1-07: Mixtape down until further notice

As V Dogg prepares to implement the new feature on the site, the Merciless Heat Mixtape will be down until further notice (the new feature involves the mixtape).  But don't fret - the mixtape is still available on CD!  If you want a copy, all you have to do is send V Dogg an e-mail (on the Contact V Dogg page) with a mailing address and he'll send you one right away.  Thank you for your understanding.

6-21-07: New Forum up

V Dogg now has a new forum up.  This is an experiment that V Dogg is conducting.  Feel free to begin posting in it! 

6-9-07: #2 in Hip Hop, #12 in any genre!

On MySpace, V Dogg has learned today that he is on the charts.  Currently he sits at #2 in the Hip Hop in the ENTIRE state of Alabama!  Not just around his city, but the entire state.  Also, if you were to factor in any genre, V Dogg currently sits at #12, once again in the WHOLE state of Alabama!  What an accomplishment for V Dogg!  His biggest to date!  V Dogg's MySpace page can be found on the top.  Go V Dogg!

6-3-07: UPDATE: New song here! And CD mixtapes

It is now confirmed that the CD copies of The Merciless Heat Mixtape WILL indeed be ready in time for the Juneteenth Heritage Festival on June 16th! First 50 people in attendance at the Festival get a FREE copy.

4-22-07: New shows

V Dogg will open up for Khia (My Neck, My Back) on May 4th at Studio 231.  He is also going to appear at the Juneteenth Heritage Festival at Anniston, Alabama's Zinn Park on June 16th.  The latter show may be the first opportunity that you can get the Merciless Heat Mixtape on CD!  Be there for both shows!

4-17-07: THE FACE OF HIP HOP HAS NOW CHANGED!

4-15-07: Hip hop's face is changed in 48 hours!

That's right.  The Merciless Heat Mixtape is now being uploaded to the server, and V Dogg will be unleashing twenty two venomous tracks in the early morning hours of Tuesday!  Either stay up and be one of the first to listen, or wake up and file your federal tax returns then log onto the website and take a listen.  Either way, be on the lookout!

3-19-07: MIXTAPE FINISHED!

That is correct!  V Dogg has put the finishing touches on the Merciless Heat Mixtape today and finished it up.  It will be available on the site on April 17th, with CD copies available shortly thereafter.  Be on the lookout!

3-2-07: V Dogg is headed to the finals!

V Dogg will be one of many acts to perform in the finals at Studio 231's Greg Gates Conference competition.  Be there to see V Dogg move the crowd once again at Studio 231 in Gadsden, Alabama for the chance to head out to the Greg Gates Conference in Pensacola, Florida.

2-23-07: New show and update on the mixtape!

V Dogg is coming back to The Highnote Lounge Cafe on March 4th.  Be there!

Also, The Merciless Heat Mixtape is AHEAD of schedule and could possibly be done in March.  If so, it could possibly be released long before April 17th.  Look out for updates on this great news!

2-13-07: New show

V Dogg is coming to Toccoa, Georgia, the hometown of one of the south's hottest independent artists, B-SHOC.  He will be one of the opening acts in Hype Nite Round Three.  Be there!

2-7-07: Small update

"Who's That?" has been reuploaded with more volume in the vocals.  It has also reached #19 on the MP3Unsigned charts.

2-5-07: Mark your calendars for Tax Day!

Yes, April 17th is the final day in which all Americans can file their federal income tax refunds.  But it is also the day when hip hop is changed as it is known today.  The Merciless Heat Mixtape is in its final stages of work and V Dogg will have it online on April 17th, God willing.  CD copies of it will be available shortly thereafter.  Be on the lookout.  April 17th!

1-17-07: New show and mixtape update

V Dogg to head to The High Note Lounge Cafe in Birmingham, Alabama on January 28th.  Be there!

The Merciless Heat Mixtape completion date will be pushed back a week due to V Dogg working on a new song.  A few days after it is completed it will be available for immediate download, with CD copies of it coming shortly thereafter.  Be on the lookout!

1-6-07: Merciless Heat Mixtape est. completion

God willing, the estimated completion date for V Dogg's mixtape is somewhere in the March 11-17, 2007 time frame.  Recording will be done next week and post processing will commence.  The release date for the mixtape will be in mid to late March.  Be on the lookout for any later developments.

1-1-07: Happy New Year!

V Dogg will like to formally wish everyone out there a very happy and prosperous 2007.  Look out for big things coming from V Dogg!  He had a unexpected, last minute show at Club End Zone in Mississippi last night/this morning.

12-30-06: V Dogg now in rotation on the radio!

V Dogg's hit club banger, "Wiggle 'N' Jiggle" is now in rotation on Chicago's Madd Radio!  Go here or on the links page and click on Madd Radio.  Request "Wiggle 'N' Jiggle" and get ready to do just that!

12-29-06: V Dogg: CHAMPION OF THE OPEN MIC!

Through some very tough competition at Studio 231's Champions of the Open Mic show, V Dogg was selected as the winner of them all!  This is V Dogg's biggest accomplishment in his entire music career.  V Dogg would like to give thank yous to all of those who have been by his side throughout the entire show.  V Dogg will also like to congratulate Kolor Blind and Whitewash on their third and second place victories (respectively).  But V Dogg is 2006's undisputed champion of the open mic!  Congratulations, V Dogg!  He is V Dogg.  The man changing the face of hip hop as it is now known.  Be on the lookout from the V-D-O-Double-G in 2007.  Keep it locked!

12-23-06: Relaunch and new show!

V Dogg would like to send his sincere apologies for the recent downtime of the site, but it is back up and running now.  V Dogg is returning to Studio 231 on December 28th, 2006.  Be there!

11-12-06: NEW MUSIC!

Two brand new V Dogg produced tracks are now posted on the Music page.  "This Is Me" and "She's Fiya" (two versions of both) are now on the official site.  They will be posted on other sites in the coming days.  Check them out!

V Dogg to return to Studio 231 for the open mic.  Will also be going to Club End Zone in Mississippi to perform.  Be there at both shows!
